Andy Cohen And RHOC Alums Send Condolences To Jeana Keough And Family Following The Death Of Matt Keough!

Current and former RHOC cast members and Andy Cohen took to social media to share their reactions to news of the death of Jeana Keough's husband Matt Keough. The former MLB athlete and Real Housewives of Orange County husband passed away at the age of 64.

Jeana paid tribute to Matt on social media following news of his death. The post featured a throwback captionless photo of the former MLB pitcher in his Oakland Athletics uniform, according to PEOPLE.

“Rest in peace Matt,” wrote Vicki Gunvalson, who was among RHOC's original cast with Jeana.

Jo De La Rosa, also an original RHOC cast member, commented, “I'm so incredibly sorry to hear about this. Sending love and prayer your way for your heart right now. I'm here if there's anything you need.”

Judge, who joined the cast in season 3, said, “I'm so sorry for your loss. Big hugs and prayers.”

The former Bravo reality stars also commented on Jeana and Matt's daughter Kara Keough Bosworth's heartfelt tribute in honor of her late father.

“Daddy, please take care of my son. Teach him the circle changeup and how to find forever friends. You’re on grandpa duty in heaven now. Xoxo, Hammerhead,” Kara captioned a series of photos of the former A’s pitcher over the years via Instagram on Saturday, May 2.

Gunvalson commented, “Kara, I am so sorry. There are no words to say, other than you are loved,” she wrote.

“Oh Kara. I'm so sorry big hugs,” Judge commented.

“I'm so incredibly sorry to hear about this Kara. Thinking of you guys and sending so much love your way. Here if you need anything,” De La Rosa wrote.

Quinn Fry, who appeared in Season 3, wrote, “Kara darling girl, you have so many people praying for you and the family right now. I am so very very sorry.”

As for Andy Cohen, he tweeted, “My heart goes out to the Keough family today. They have really been through it the last couple weeks,” he wrote. “Sending them virtual love.”

Meanwhile, Jeana's oldest son Shane paid tribute to his late father on social media. “My favorite place was always on your shoulders. It makes me smile knowing McCoy will be there with you; right there on your shoulders,” Shane captioned as he shared a series of photos of the late athlete over the years via Instagram. “It wasn’t always perfect but I wouldn’t change it for the world. You taught me more than you’ll ever know and I hope that I make you proud. Kick back and enjoy the eternal sunshine. Till I see you again - I love dad,” he wrote.

Matt's death comes nearly a month after Kara and her husband Kyle Bosworth‘s newborn son died on after experiencing “shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord.”

“He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “May his legacy shine in the form of lifetimes aplenty — lives filled with laughter, compassion, energy, love, and most of all gratitude. May it be said that McCoy Casey Bosworth left this world in a better place, for a better place …. that he made an impact … that he was an answered prayer … that he was a hero.”

Keough reflected on the loss of her baby on April 27 in an emotional Instagram post, which featured a photo of the couple holding onto their newborn shortly after his birth.

“You would have been 3 weeks old today,” she wrote. “You would be ‘waking up’ and showing us more of you. I would be getting the hang of being a mom of two. My milk would be regulating to your schedule. Your sister would be asking questions about your belly button and you would have peed on her at least once by now.”
