The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Season 12 Cast Reportedly ‘Not Happy’ About Online Reunion!

According to new sources, the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are not that thrilled about filming the Season 12 reunion online. If you recall, Andy Cohen confirmed that the series will be filming the reunion online after originally postponing it due to the coronavirus crisis.

“When the ladies found out that [Bravo] made the decision to do the reunion online, they were not happy about it and they tried to talk them out of it,” the source told HollywoodLife. “But it was too late at that point. They already made up their minds, and the virtual reunion is moving forward.”

The source noted that there isn’t a date set for the online special yet, but that it is being filmed.

Another source claim that the cast was looking forward to “confront[ing] each other face to face,” a second source told HollywoodLife. “It’s a huge adjustment to have to do it online.”

“The reunion is so important to them and their fans, and they are all used to doing it one way. They’re all very nervous to change it up. Let’s face it, change is never easy, but they will adjust.”

Earlier this month, reunion host, Andy Cohen confirmed that the Bravo hit reality series was filming its upcoming reunion online.

“We are going to be shooting the Housewives of Atlanta Reunion virtually," Andy said on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live on Monday, April 6, according to The Daily Dish. “This is obviously not how we prefer to do it, but life is not how we prefer it right now.”

“We want to be in the same room, but we cannot risk the health and safety of the Housewives or the incredible crew in Georgia,” he said. “[RHOA] is regarded by many as the Super Bowl of reunion shows, and it is truly one of my favorite reunions to shoot, I look forward to it, and the fact of the matter is it's either we do it this way or there's no Super Bowl this year.”

He also explained why waiting until they can safely film the reunion in person isn't a viable option. “If we wait for this pandemic to be over for when we all are in the same room, it's gonna delay everything,” Andy said. “We need to move forward, we need to live in reality right now, and the reality is if we're going to do this, we're going to do this right now.”

Andy added, “We're obviously wrapped on this season, and we want to reset the table so that when we can, we want to start shooting next season.”
