Bethenny Frankel Slams The Real Housewives Of New York City And Reacts Being Talked About In Season 12 Premiere Episode; Says “The Beginning Of The Show Was The Proverbial Middle Finger To Me”

Bethenny Frankel reveals that she felt insulted being talked about during the Season 12 premiere episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. If you recall, her former co-stars reacted to her departure from the series.

“The beginning of the show was the proverbial middle finger to me,” she told Extra. “The women have definitely had some unpleasant things to say about me … I wish them well.”

While many fans from the Bravo hit reality show are finding solace and distraction in the show amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Frankel feels like its doing a disservice to viewers.

“The ratings overall in television have never been higher and perhaps the ratings on ‘Real Housewives’ aren’t doing well because it’s sort of not maybe the content that is inspiring people to do what they need to do right now,” Frankel continued. “Or maybe they want to watch the news or something uplifting or some way to pay it forward.”

Currently, Frankel has been staying busy working on her philanthropy, BStrong, to fighting the pandemic. Last month, she donated 250,000 N95 masks to New York City hospitals.

“We will have distributed over $16 million worth of aid this week and that will grow exponentially,” she told the outlet.
