ITVBe Confirms Postponement Of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire Season 11 Due To Coronavirus!

ITVBe has officially shut down production of the upcoming eleventh season of The Real Housewives of Cheshire due to the Coronavirus outbreak. According to sources, "everyone's really panicking as they haven't filmed the whole series so loads of the storylines won't have an end or a conclusion."

"Everyone was really shocked when it happened because the series was far from finished," an insider told The Sun. "But it's all about the health and safety of the crew and cast. It's just really bad timing as the start date was announced yesterday so it's got to start then!"

ITV confirmed the news in a statement: "Monkey and ITV have paused production on series 11 of The Real Housewives of Cheshire as a precautionary measure," the statement read.

"The health and safety of our cast and crew is our top priority. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are following the latest guidance and advice."

The news comes after Leilani Dowding and Perla Navia announced their departure from the series. Returning to the series are Dawn Ward, Ester Dohnalová, Hanna Kinsella, Rachel Lugo, Seema Malhotra, and Tanya Bardsley. They will be joined by original cast member Lauren Simon, who is returning to the series as well as Christine McGuiness who returning as a guest. The series will include new cast member Nicole Sealey.

Earlier this week it was announced that NBCUniversal has halted all their upcoming productions which include upcoming new seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, The Real Housewives of Melbourne and The Real Housewives of Orange County.
