Cynthia Bailey And Tinsley Mortimer Reveal How The Coronavirus Pandemic Has Affected Their Wedding Plans!

Cynthia Bailey reveals how her plans for her upcoming wedding to Mike Hill has been affected due to the coronavirus outbreak. “[Coronavirus] has affected it of course,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told HollywoodLife.

“I’ve spoken to my event planner and the venue, just to have the conversation, because we don’t know what’s going on. See, I’m kind of hesitant to even send out the invites right now to be honest, because I just don’t know.”

Bailey said she felt like 2020 was going to be the “perfect year” but the coronavirus outbreak threw a spanner in the works. “We always thought 10/10/20 was the perfect date,” she said. “I’m like 2020, let me tell you something. I owe 2019 an apology.”

“I love 2019 and all the other years, like this is crazy,” she continued. “In the event we need to change it or postpone the date, you know what does that mean? Because we paid deposits and all that stuff already. We’re going to get married; whether it’s 10/10/20, not so sure about that.”

Cynthia acknowledges that there's more to look into despite the overwhelming stress of her wedding. “By the time this is over, I don’t even know who’s going to have jobs, who’s going to be afford to come to the wedding,” she told HollywoodLife. “Even in terms of production, I don’t even know where we’re doing with Housewives at this point. We haven’t even had the reunion yet.”

Meanwhile, Real Housewives of New York City's Tinsley Mortimer, who got engaged to Scott Kluth in November 2019, also reveals that her wedding plans may change due to the coronavirus.

“We were thinking about doing something in Japan. And clearly, anything in Asia was then all of a sudden, completely off limits,” Mortimer told E! News. “You know, when you're planning anything and you have to think ahead, we're at a time in our lives right now that we really just don't know what's going on and where we can travel and what we can do. And so it's definitely difficult in this time to plan something and really nail it down. So we're kind of just waiting to see what's going to happen with the world. But we have some really good ideas that we can sort of put [in place] once we know really officially when we're going to be able to travel again and be out.”

Mortimer says she and Kluth definitely want a “small wedding.”

“We definitely want to do destination in some way,” she says. “You know [having it] in New York or having it in Chicago, we would have to make it very big and we really both want to have it smaller so we think that doing destination we'd be able to make it more intimate and smaller. So that's our plan. But you never know, we might have to go into like court or something here in Chicago or do it at the home because we can't leave so God knows. We'll see.”

When asked if any of her RHONY co-stars will be invited to the nuptials, Mortimer teased, “Of course I've thought about it and I'm not gonna say who I have thought about having, but of course I have thought about it. And there will most likely will be one or two.”
