Sonja Morgan Reveals RHONY Season 12 Will Be “Very Funny” And “Dramatic”; Says “You’re Going To Really Enjoy This Season”

Sonja Morgan is opening up about the upcoming twelfth season of The Real Housewives of New York City. “We’re much closer than ever,” she told Page Six. “This season has been great. I’m very excited.”

“We have a new addition, Leah [McSweeney],” Morgan continued. “She hit the ground running and you’re going to really enjoy this season. It’s very funny. It’s dramatic.”

Morgan also came to Luann de Lesseps' defense after the RHONY Season 12 trailer showed sipping from a glass of vodka and proclaiming, “Oh, it tasted so good!” after completing her probation.

“Luann’s a good girl,” Morgan notes. “She’ll be fine.”

Morgan also shared an update on her relationship with Bethenny Frankel, who's not returning to the series.

“You know Bethenny is one of my BFFs, so I miss seeing her and I definitely miss her being on the show,” she told Page Six. “She’s part of the DNA of the show. I know that whatever works for her, works for me, and I just want her to be happy.”
