RHOCheshire Friend Christine McGuinness Wants To Join Strictly Come Dancing!

Christine McGuinness wants to appear on Strictly Come Dancing. The Real Housewives of Cheshire friend admits that she wants to be part of the BBC competitive reality series. “I would love to do Strictly. Learning a new skill and wearing sparkles... I am there,” she told the Daily Star according to The Sun.

“I have always wanted to learn to dance like they do in Dirty Dancing too. It’s my fave movie.”

McGuinness addressed the show’s famous curse which has seen couple’s break up over the years, she added: “Paddy would be fine with it.’’

Christine, who previously never made any appearances has made several television appearances over the years. McGuinness has appeared on Loose Women many times to bring awareness about autism.

Christine has also appeared on The Real Housewives of Cheshire over the last several seasons. In 2018, she opened up about joining the ITVBe hit reality series.

"I was asked to do the show years ago but it just didn't work with the children," she told This Morning she said in April 2018. "I want to go out and do something for myself. It's near to home and they film when the children are in school or in bed."

"It's given me kick up the bum hair to get my make up, get out the house and let daddy look after them, he's more than capable."

McGuinness admitted at that time that being on The Real Housewives of Cheshire has been a "brilliant distraction from everything," she added. "I can't praise the show enough for giving me that."
