Dolores Catania Is Moving To New York City For The Summer And Reveals She’s Not Moving Into Her Boyfriend David Principe’s New House!

Dolores Catania is changing her zip code for the summer. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star revealed that she's moving to  New York City. “I got an apartment in the city,” she told Page Six. “I always dreamed about living in the city.”

Catania reveals that she will be moving to the Financial District in May. Her new downtown pied-à-terre will also serve as home for her son, Frank Catania Jr., during his upcoming summer internship at the upscale investment bank Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.

Dolores admitted that her son will be working long hours which gives her time to host parties at her new pad while her son is away at work.

“Frankie’s not going to be there,” the reality star said. “There’s a rooftop, and I’m, like, ‘Whoa. I’m going to have friends over.’ I’ve never had that before.”

If you recall, Dolores and her ex-husband Frank are building a house for her boyfriend David Principe as seen in the current season of the Bravo hit reality series. While the home is expected to be completed soon, Dolores explains why she's not sold on moving in with Principe.

“David will probably be moving into his house, like, this week,” she said, adding that she won’t be moving in with him because she is “finally just getting used to my freedom.”

“The first half of my life was for everyone: my kids, my family, my ex-husband, anybody who was in my life,” she said. “Before I have that [again], I would like to get to know myself better. I’m working with a shaman. I’m doing a lot of spiritual stuff. I’m a devout Catholic, but I think there’s so much more to learn, and I want a clear mind before I make any other decisions in my life.”

When asked if Principe’s reluctance to propose was teh reason she decided to move to the Big Apple, she said, “It’s not just a ring. I think that even if there was — I think it’s the timing for me. He didn’t. And I’m kind of glad he didn’t because now my mindset isn’t there anymore.”

“I am not single, but not engaged. Not married,” she told Page Six. “I envision walking around. My friend told me that there’s all vendors and stuff by South Street Seaport. I’m going. My boyfriend works seven days a week.”
