Lisa Oldfield has sparked engagement rumors with her new boyfriend James Laws after The Real Housewives of Sydney star showed off a gorgeous ring on her wedding finger on social media. "After the worst week of my life, Jimmy just surprised me with this !," she wrote on Instagram while sharing a photo of the ring along with the hashtags "#tanzanite #love #loveofmylife."

Fans of the former Foxtel reality star congratulated her in the comment section of the photo, with one writing: "So beautiful and stunning."

"Congratulations to both of you and wish you both every happiness," another one wrote, according to The Daily Mail.

Another one wrote: "Omg I just realised what finger you're wearing it on!!!! Did he propose?!!!"

Despite the speculation of an engagement, Lisa confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the ring was a birthday present from John, not an engagement ring.

"It's just a birthday present," Lisa said, having celebrated her birthday on Thursday.

The mother-of-two confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that she is still "officially married" to ex-husband David Oldfield. "I'd expect much bigger than that," she joked.
