Kim Granatell Reacts To Danielle Staub’s RHONJ Departure; Says “Let’s Be Real It’s Not By Choice”

Kim Granatell, who is famously known as the infamous Kim G, took to her social media to share her thoughts on Danielle Staub's announcement that she was leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Kim G accused Danielle of lying and claims that her exit wasn't her choice.

"More lies. So she won't be returning to the franchise, but let's be real it's not by choice...," she wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

She added: "In contracts we are not allowed to put hands on other cast. And especially after she told @Adam_Berta they offered so much money to return why would she quit? #RHONJ"

Last week, Staub announced her departure from RHONJ during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, adding that she will “never be returning as a housewife again.”

"I will be never returning as a Housewife again with the Jersey girls," she told Andy Cohen on Wednesday night's episode of the late-night talk show. "I have, over the past 12 years and 10 seasons, been a part of this whole franchise and I’ve been very happy to rally and stand on a platform and be here with all of you. But it is time for me to leave and do something that I want to do that makes my heart happy every day."



Cohen was shocked by Danielle’s decision, noting he “didn’t expect” her to use the word never. He added: "This is entirely your move."

Danielle originally starred on RHONJ as a full-time Housewife for seasons 1 and 2. After rekindling her friendship with Teresa Giudice in 2016, Danielle returned in a “friend” role for seasons 8, 9 and 10.
