During an Instagram Live Q&A session on Tuesday night, ahead of the premiere episode, Jax had a lot to say about his thoughts on his newest co-stars. “I hate them all,” before admitting that he does like Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni.
“They’re great for MTV, not for our show,” he said, according to Reality Blurb. “I pride our show on being real and I just think some of these people are being a tad bit fake. It’s okay, though. You’re walking into a successful, great show. You have a lot to prove and you want to make a name for yourself. I get it, but be a little more creative,” he shared.
After a fan then accused him of being “jealous” of the new additions, he fired back: “Why would I be jealous of the new people? I get paid. They don’t.”
Meanwhile, Stassi also had a lot to say about her newest co-stars. “There are a few of them that I really really like and I got to know them very well. I think they’re wonderful additions. And there are a few where I’m like ‘I can’t relate to you at all and I don’t understand you as a person.’ Which, I also think is interesting,” she said during a recent interview with Access, according to Reality Tea. “We’re not just gonna you know, welcome people with open arms into our group. We’re a tight-knit group that’s been friends for so long. So, it’s not like anyone’s welcome. You have to kind of prove that we can trust you and you kind of belong here.”
When she was asked to describe each newbie with one word. She said Brett Caprioni is “adorable.” She shared that Dayna Kathan is “hysterical” and admitted that she “really [likes] Dayna.” Stassi also said that Max Boyens is “witty” and “just really entertaining.”
When asked about Charli Burnett, the first word that came to Stassi’s mind was “Scheana.”
“They look alike. And they dress alike.” Stassi explained, “I think [Charli is] a little more soft-spoken, but sometimes I get confused when I see them. Same outfit, same look.”
When Danica Dow was mentioned, Stassi responded, “another Scheana.”
“Danica kind of reminds me of Scheana too. They all started dressing alike. I don’t know when that happened but I just recently have been on Instagram… Everyone’s morphed into each other.”
She added: “I can try and think of another one for Danica… ‘extra.’ Every time I was around her, she was yelling at someone, raising her voice, and I’m like, this girl needs to sit down and take a breath.” Ultimately, she did admit, “I didn’t really get to know her very well.”
