Brandi Redmond Checks Herself Into Wellness Center After Apologizing For Resurfaced Video Of Her Mocking Asians!

Brandi Redmond has checked into a wellness center after apologizing for insensitive video in which the Real Housewives of Dallas star appeared to mock Asian people resurfaced last week on social media.

Redmond checked herself into a wellness center, to “reflect and better herself,” according to PEOPLE.

A rep for Weekly Dose of B.S. — the podcast Brandi co-hosts along with Stephanie Hollman — made the announcement on Instagram after Redmond skipped the recording of the show’s latest episode.

“She will be back with us next week,” the rep wrote. “We support her on this journey of healing and ask that join us in that.”

Stephanie Hollman also confirmed the news on the topic via her Twitter page. “She has checked in to a therapeutic healing center. I am sending her lots of love and prayers during this time of reflection and healing,” she tweeted. “I hope you can join me in that! We should all spread more love through social media.”

Redmond originally posted the video to her Instagram Story in 2017. Steve Kemble, who is LeeAnne Locken’s wedding planner, shared the clip via Twitter on January 1. “Take A Seat #BrandiRedmond Remember this!? I Do! with your kids in the video,” he wrote. “If @BravoTV @Andy @BravoWWHL #stephaniehollman #karybrittingham & #dandrasimmons want to call @LeeAnneLocken ‘racist’ then either apologize to LL or LABEL BRANDI REDMOND RACIST too!”

In the clip, Redmond said with an accent: “They ask me what Asian I am because my eyes, they squinty.”

Redmond issued a public apology on Twitter three days later. “A video resurfaced of me from three years ago which at the time I had posted and quickly deleted and then immediately apologized for my insensitivity,” she tweeted. “I would like to once again sincerely apologize for my offensive actions.”
