"Sweeter the second time around! Thank you to everyone who loved, supported, rooted and prayed for Juan and I. We truly appreciate all of the love and congratulatory wishes as we embark on #DixonsPartDeux ❤️," she wrote.
"An untraditional relationship calls for a non-traditional ring! I told a little birdie that if Juan ever proposed, I didn’t want a diamond ring…that didn’t work out too well the first time, lol. I fell in love with the Pink Morganite stone because I wanted something with significance and meaning," she continued. Morganite represents unconditional love - something that our relationship exhibits and has relied upon."
She added: "My beautiful ring, commissioned by Juan and custom made by @nicolerosejewelry, is an emerald cut, double diamond halo with pink morganite center 💕💕💕"
The couple got engaged on Friday, during a holiday wrap party for the upcoming fifth season of RHOP. A video of the proposal went viral on social media as the former Basketball athlete popped the question to the mother of his two sons.
Robyn opened up about her engagement to Bravo. "Shocked and excited is an understatement to describe my reaction to Juan’s proposal! I could barely breathe! We had definitely discussed the topic and agreed that marriage was the next step for us, but I was not expecting it to happen so soon!" Robyn told The Daily Dish. "Juan gave the sweetest speech and set the whole room into an uproar when he got down on one knee! It was truly a special night and is definitely much sweeter the second time around. Oh, and he knows me well and got my ring just right!"
She continued: "I have been so touched by all of the well wishes that we have received from people who have been praying and rooting for us to succeed," she shared. "The outpouring of love is truly heartwarming."
She added: "I look forward to spending the holidays with my new fiancé," Robyn said. "Haha, it’s so weird to call Juan my fiancé; I think I’ll stick with 'husband.'"
This will be the second time Robyn and Juan have said "I do." The couple was previously married for seven years before getting divorced in 2012. However, they notably still lived under the same roof as they raised their two sons, Corey and Carter.
Robyn and Juan continued to work on their relationship over the years, eventually getting back together. They even got matching tattoos to show their commitment to one another in the Season 4 finale.
