Kevin McCall Dropped By Lawyer In Custody Battle With Eva Marcille, Kevin Indicted On Felony Charge For Courthouse Fight!

Eva Marcille’s ex Kevin McCall has been dropped by his lawyer amid his ongoing legal issues. According to court records obtained by The Blast, Adamma McKinnon, McCall’s Georgia attorney, is asking the judge to let him withdraw from the custody battle.

McKinnon didn’t go into specific details of the reason behind his decision to drop McCall. He was representing McCall in the lawsuit he filed against the Real Housewives of Atlanta star demanding custody of their daughter Marley Rae, who is five years old.

Marcille has been fighting the case accusing McCall of being dangerous and is not fit to be around their daughter. The Bravo reality star claims Kevin hasn’t paid a dime in child support over the years. Marcille has accused McCall of domestic violence including when she was pregnant.

The news comes after his recent arrest. At a court hearing in the custody case, McCall got into an altercation with police officers inside the courthouse. McCall allegedly resisting arrest and caused damage to the officer’s property. He was taken into custody and stayed behind bars for several days.

According to the Daily Mail, he was charged with felony ‘Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree’. He was also hit with four misdemeanor charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and obstruction of law enforcement officer. He is facing up to 5 years behind bars on the felony charge.

McCall was charged Tuesday stemming from his altercation in a downtown Atlanta courthouse last month. The 34-year-old rap artist and producer was indicted on three counts including felony criminal damage to property in the second degree, obstruction of a law enforcement officer by use of threats or violence and terroristic threats, TMZ reported.

Kevin was indicted by a grand jury in connection with the November 5 incident at the Fulton County courthouse, where he was at for a custody hearing with Marcille over their daughter Marley Rae Sterling.

In the incident, McCall made his way into the federal building streaming on Instagram, and cursed at law enforcement when they told him to cease filming, citing building rules, according to the outlet.

McCall pushed away the hand of one sergeant and resisted another one, with one of the authorities taking a tumble down an escalator on the premises, Fulton County Sheriff's officials told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
