As previously reported, Joe and Teresa Giudice have separated after 20 years of marriage. “Teresa and Joe have separated, but have no plans to divorce yet,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this week about the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars.
“Teresa and Joe talked about their future when she and the girls were in Italy and decided it was best for them to separate. Neither of them wanted to be in a long—distance relationship.”
The source added that Joe, who is living in his native Italy as he awaits a verdict in his deportation appeal, “has been dating,” but Teresa, also 47, has been “busy taking care of” their daughters Gia (18), Gabriella (15), Milania (13), and Audriana (10).
“They harbor no ill will towards each other and will continue to coparent their kids,” the source explained. “The girls will be going to Italy in December, Teresa will be staying home.”
Following the news of the split, many past and present Real Housewives stars from across the Bravo reality franchise reacted to the news. Check it out below!

"Do [you] see the newspaper? Do you see what is going on in this world? For the last week, I've been fighting against the state forcing mandatory vaccinations on our kids, I don’t give a rats ass about people who don't pay their taxes and commit crimes,” she star told Us Weekly. “As much as I would love to try to care about housewife drama, it is not surprising the Giudices have succumb to the curse of it. No one survives that show."
Danielle Staub
“Teresa is a big girl. She has made choices that she wants to clearly stand by and in these situations the kids always lose out,” she told Us Weekly exclusively about her costar. “In the end, we all make decisions and they always affect our children. I myself have done that too. I feel bad for the kids, that's all. They will all remain in my prayers, Joe included.”
Margaret Josephs
“It’s not surprising,” she said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Wednesday, December 18. “Andy, you know, we heard what she said at the last reunion. They’re making the best decisions for their family, and Joe and Teresa, you know, they’re moving on. I haven’t spoken to her since the news broke yesterday. I haven’t had a chance. But I will be speaking to her this week.”

“There’s really nothing I can say about it other then it’s a sad situation for their daughters,” Danielle Staub’s ex-husband told Us Weekly. “Only Joe and Teresa can decide how to move forward. Getting separated comes as no surprise to anybody. They’ve basically been separated for a few years already anyway. I just wish them both happiness.”
Siggy Flicker
“Sad news. Most knew that this day was coming. It’s a sad ending to a beautiful start,” the relationship expert told Us Weekly. “They got married, had four beautiful girls and hoped for a bright future. Relationships are complicated and it takes two to make any relationship work. They had too much working against them and I also disagree with the judge ruling in favor of Joe being deported. He did the crime, did the time and should have been allowed to go home to his family. Enough was enough. Wishing Joe and Teresa all the health and happiness. They are both wonderful parents. Their children have suffered enough. Wishing their entire family peace and happiness.”
