Tinsley Mortimer is not leaving The Real Housewives of New York City, despite recent reports. Speculations surfaced on social media and gossip sites claiming that the socialite didn't show up to film recently because she decided to visit her boyfriend, Scott Kluth, who recently rekindled their romance after splitting up a few months back.

Despite speculations, sources reveal that Mortimer has no plans of quitting RHONY.

“So she missed one event,” an insider told Radar Online. “She will be filming the show next week!”

A second source said: “She is still filming. Any rumors of her quitting is everyone just speculating and the cast gossiping.”

The news of Tinsley quitting the reality show comes after her castmates believed that her unexpected absence must have meant she was leaving the series to be with her boyfriend, who resides in Chicago.

Page Six reported that Mortimer was supposed to be at the Eventi Hotel in Midtown to shoot with the rest of the cast on Thursday night but opted out to go to Chicago to be with her boyfriend.

Sources say this isn’t a storyline for the show, and that Mortimer is ready to put her personal life ahead of her responsibilities for the Bravo show, reports the outlet.

While her castmates seem convinced that she's quitting the show, sources close to Mortimer insisted that she’ll continue to be involved in the show in some way this season.
