Tinsley Mortimer Confirms Engagement To Scott Kluth, Shares Proposal Photo On Instagram!

Tinsley Mortimer is sharing the exact moment her boyfriend Scott Kluth proposed to her. The Real Housewives of New York City said that she “always knew” Kluth was the one for her in a recent Instagram post.

“I always knew it was you!!! ❤️,” she wrote.

In the photo, Kluth can be seen down on one knee, holding open the ring box as Mortimer stands opposite him with her hands up in front of her face in a look of surprise.

Mortimer tagged the post at the Chicago Water Tower, as Kluth proposed on the landmark’s steps, according to PEOPLE. Christmas carolers dressed in holiday garb can be seen in the photo singing behind the couple.

Several of Mortimer’s fellow Bravo stars commented on the photo, congratulating the couple.

“Congrats boo 💯💞❤️,” wrote Leah McSweeney, who is the newest addition to the RHONY cast, in the comments of the post. D’Andra Simmons of Real Housewives of Dallas added, “Congratulations 😘.”

“Scott’s apartment is close to where the carollers were,” a source told Page Six. “They were walking to dinner to and they saw these carollers, and they broke into Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years,’ which is their song. It took Tinsley a few seconds to figure out what was going on, but then Scott got down on one knee. He’d organized the whole thing with the carollers in advance.”

“She was totally surprised,” the source continued. “Her friends sort of knew something was coming, but it really did take her by surprise. Scott asked her mom’s [Dale Mercer’s] permission, so their families knew, but it was a surprise to her friends.”

Tinsley took to Instagram to share a clip of the duo packing on the PDA while celebrating at TAO Chicago. "Best weekend ever!!!!" she captioned the video, according to E! News, which showed featured a marquee sign welcoming her to the Windy City. "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH SCOTT!!!!"

Rumors claim that Mortimer will quit RHONY after Season 12 and move in with Kluth in Chicago.
