RHOMelbourne Producers Searching For New Housewives For Season 5, Meet Potential New Cast Members!

After Foxtel officially renewed The Real Housewives of Melbourne for a fifth season after a nearly two-year hiatus, sources have revealed that producers of the series are on the hunt to find the new cast members for show's upcoming fifth season.

According to a report by News Corp’s Fiona Byrne via Mediaweek, secret meetings have been taking place across the city between casting agents and women of influence.

The new series of the hit Foxtel reality show is expected to start filming early next year. Sources reveal that none of the current cast, which includes Gamble Breaux, Gina Liano, Jackie Gillies, Janet Roach, Lydia Schiavello, Sally Bloomfield and Venus Behbahani, are guaranteed to be asked to return to the show.

Nadia Bartel is heavily rumored to join the series. The outlet also reports that producers are eyeing  Dionnie Fahour, Felicia Leoncelli, Jane Badler and Mandy Andrianakos.


According to Famous Birthdays, Batel is an Australian blogger, stylist and social media sensation who created the popular fashion blog Chronicles of Nadia. She is a popular presence on Instagram, having earned over 550,000 followers.

She grew up in Melbourne, Australia and earned a Bachelor's degree from La Trobe University in 2007. She had a career in advertising before deciding to focus on blogging full-time. She has done some modeling work, having been featured in Westfield's 2013 Autumn/Winter campaign.

Nadia runs an online clothing store called The Connection with her sister and is also the creative director of her own brand, Henne.

She married Australian rules footballer Jimmy Bartel in a ceremony on the Bellarine Peninsula in February 2014. The couple welcomed their first child on November 27th, 2015. Their second son was born on October 17th 2018. The couple announced their separation in August 2019 after it was revealed that Jimmy had been cheating on Nadia, according to Jimmy's Wikipedia page.

Dionnie Fahour is married to former Australia Post boss Ahmed Fahour. In 2018, they launched a yoga business Astra Yoga. According to The Daily Mail, Dionnie's husband was paid $5.6 million a year in the post before resigning in February 2017. He resigned after details of his remuneration were made public and pocketed $10.8 million.

Felicia Leoncelli is a former ballerina who became a childrenswear designer, According to The Sydney Morning Herald, For 10 years, Felicia danced seven shows a week for 250 shows a year. Now, with two children in tow, Palanca draws on her time as a ballerina to design dancewear specifically for young girls under her label Flo Dancewear.

Originally producing children's dancewear, the brand has since expanded to include Flo Active, an activewear line for teens.

The company now turns over $1.5 million a year with garments stocked in Myer, David Jones and more recently in Macy's in the United States.

Jane Badler is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Diana, the main antagonist in NBC's science fiction series, V, between 1983 and 1985. Badler also appeared in ABC's "reimagined" version of V in 2011, again playing an alien named Diana, who this time is the mother of the series' chief antagonist, Anna. In recent years, Badler has also become an established nightclub singer in Australia, where she now lives and has released three albums, according to her Wikipedia page.

I couldn't find much information on potential newbie Mandy Andrianakos as her Instagram account is set on private. All I could find about Mandy is that she is a current board member for the Scotch College Foundation.
