RHOJ Alums Evodia ‘Madam’ Mogase And Mercy Mogase Are Getting Their Own Spin-Off Show Called ‘Madam And Mercy’ In 2020!

It looks like the rumors are true about Real Housewives of Johannesburg alums Evodia "Madam" Mogase and Mercy Mogase getting their own spin-off series. According to SowetanLIVE, the mother-daughter duo's reality show will be about their lavish lifestyle and will be broadcast of Mzansi Magic under the title Madam and Mercy. No airdate for the show has been set yet.

The ladies took to Instagram to officially share the news with their followers.


"Family what an exciting moment," she wrote. "MADAME and MERCY are finally coming back. Stay tuned MzansiMagic 2020"


"Madam and Mercy on MzansiMagic," wrote Mercy. "It's official my hunnies. 2020 we will be back on your screen. Thank you so much for the amazing support. We are Beyond excited. #Madam&Mercy Season 1 coming soon."

Last month, Madam addressed rumors about starring in a spin-off with her daughter. "I think something is in the pipeline but I cannot say much about it. But you know Madam, what Madam wants, Madam gets," she revealed during an appearance on V-Entertainment. "If there is something it will show but I'm saying is they."

She added: "If I do anything, I don't need a production company. Then - the someone that will be waiting for me."



As previously reported, Evodia and Mercy announced their departure from RHOJ back in May 2019 via Instagram. “Afternoon Family😀❤️It’s with great pleasure to inform you officially that I will not be part of season 2 RHOJ. Thank you so much for all the support you gave me. I enjoyed every moment with you. But memories will remain. More information will follow just watch my coming videos. ❤️❤️❤️💛💛💚😘😘😘,” Evodia wrote.





Mercy confirmed her exit when she asked if she was returning to the 1Magic hit reality series prior to the Season 2 announcement, which is currently airing on 1Magic.


When asked if there will be a season two, Mercy replied; "Yes but we [referring to her and her mother Evodia] won't be on the show."


When asked if she was going to be part of Season 2, Mercy simply responded. "No."

Philly Kubheka, the Head of PR and Publicity at Mzansi Magic released a statement to DRUM regarding Madam's exit. "Evodia publicly announced at the end of season 1 that she will not be returning to the show for season 2 to venture into other opportunities for her career. She is one of four housewives who will not be returning making her case relatively common."
