Kenya Moore’s Ex-Boyfriend Matt Jordan Charged With Assaulting New Girlfriend!

Matt Jordan, the ex-boyfriend of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore was charged with three misdemeanors for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Valerie Bell, the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona, according to Us Weekly.

Jordan was hit with one count for assault and two for disorderly conduct, stemming from his arrest over the summer. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of up to six months in prison.

On July 27, 2019, Jordan was arrested after he allegedly got physical with his current girlfriend. According to the document, which was obtained by TMZ, the woman, Valerie Bell, claimed Jordan punched her in the face at a Denny's parking lot in the early hours of Saturday morning -- this in the presence of a second woman, who says she witnessed the alleged altercation.

The witness also told cops that Jordan got super close to her, snatched her cigarettes - including one in her mouth - and tried chucking them on the roof.

Apparently, when officers arrived, they say Matt had already left the scene but Valerie called cops a few hours later in Maricopa to say he had circled back to her home, and the police eventually found and arrested him. Upon his arrest, cops say they discovered a warrant for the other April incident. He was arrested without incident, per the report.

Following his arrest, Jordan checked into rehab following his arrest. “He was released on July 30, 2019 to Horizon Health and Wellness,” a spokesperson for the Pinal County Jail in Arizona confirmed the news to Radar Online.

According to the treatment facility’s website, they provide inpatient and outpatient services, including domestic violence, behavioral health, psychiatric, substance abuse and more.
