Kelly Dodd is reacting to Vicki Gunvalson's defamation lawsuit. The Real Housewives of Orange County star took to the comment section of a fan page Instagram post to share her thoughts on the topic.
A fan came to her defense and slammed Vicki for slandering Dodd first for alleging that she did drugs.
To which Kelly replied, “I know,” according to a November 3 report from Reality Blurb.
Then a fan suggested that she should move to New York and join The Real Housewives of New York City since she “will be more appreciated," Dodd replied: "That would be a dream.”
Apparently, Gunvalson's lawsuit against Dodd could result in the OG of the OC being banned from the upcoming reunion taping for the show's fourteenth season.
“Vicki will not be allowed at the reunion if she continues her suit against Kelly,” the source told Radar Online.
She tried to hide her identity but claimed Roe was a “TV personality and appears in the series Real Housewives of Orange County, which airs on the network Bravo,” according to court documents obtained by Radar Online. “Plaintiff is also a retirement planning specialist and the president of an insurance and financial services company.”
The news comes after Vicki filed lawsuit against Dodd, and the producers at Bravo and parent company NBCUniversal due to several accusations made by Kelly during filming. Dodd allegedly told her co-star: “You prey on older people,” “You are a con woman” and “You engaged in ‘fraud.’”
Vicki claimed in court documents that the allegations were false and the statements could be detrimental to her career if they air on the Bravo hit reality series. She requested that the remarks be removed from upcoming episodes of the Bravo series, according to Us Weekly.
The publication claims that Gunvalson filed the lawsuit under the name “Jane Roe.” She is seeking an injunction on the airing of the episode and damages.
Vicki later requested to dismiss her complaint against Bravo and NBCUniversal, though her suit against Kelly stands.
A source reveals that the season 14 reunion films Friday, November 8. According to the insider, the cast members receive the final episodes to view ahead of the taping so “that’s likely how Vicki saw it was included,” reports Us Weekly.
