Dawn Ward and Ester Dee address backlash for attempting to crash Hanna Miraftab’s wedding during Monday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

While Hanna didn't invite her co-stars to her wedding, with the exception of Seema, that didn't stop her co-stars to crash her big day.

Ester dressed in a wedding gown in honor of the occasion, complete with a bouquet of flowers and a bridal veil.

Ester and her co-stars took a party bus to the wedding, where they posed outside the church for photos. Fans of the series thought Dee took it too far when she knocked on the door of the church, while the ceremony took place inside.

Taking to Twitter, viewers slammed the RHOCheshire ladies for attempting to crash Hanna's wedding.

A viewer tweeted: "It's Hanna and Martin's big day, I hope it doesn't get ruined…," according to Daily Star.

A second viewer tweeted: "The girls need to grow up. You haven't been invited. Deal with it! Let Hanna and Martin enjoy their big day! By the way, congratulations guys!"

While a third viewer added: "WOW, can the ladies get any lower?! Turning up uninvited to Hanna's wedding and banging on the church door, absolute bratty behaviour! Now I see why they didn't get an invite to begin with! Ester took it way too far and the ladies should have said NO!"

Following the episode, Dee and Ward took to Instagram to address their wedding crashing scene.


Ester shared a selfie of herself wearing a wedding dress along with the caption: "Hope you’ve enjoyed last night episode! If not! Watch it now! 🙌🏻 I would like to let you all know, Just to make sure, we knew that H is not in the cathedral when we’ve got out. After a few fans called her out in the comment section of her post for going to the chapel door and knocking, she replied: "But she wasn't in."


She added: "We knew that she is not in."

Dawn also confirmed that they filmed knocking on the chapel door during a separate time, making it clear that it was not during the wedding.

"We wasn't there the same time." Ward tweeted.
