The Real Housewives of Johannesburg is returning for a second season, which is set to premiere on Friday, October 18 at 19:00 on 1Magic. Brinnette Seopela and Christall Kay are the only original cast members returning to the series and they are and joined by five new cast members.
Joining them are: Lebo JoJo Gunguluza, Lethabo Mathatho, Mpho Merriweather, Nompumelelo Mophatlane and Tarina Patel.

After a successful first season that saw the popular international franchise make a triumphant debut in South Africa, the Real Housewives of Johannesburg return with a second season on 1Magic, DStv channel 103. Making its way to the screens on Friday, October 18th, at 19:00, the new season packs drama, the enviable lifestyle of Johannesburg’s most monied ladies, and new friendships.
The Real Housewives of Johannesburg season 2 will continue on the impressive footprint left by the first season. The show will chronicle the lives of seven women, who are based in Johannesburg, as they negotiate life as family women, businesswomen and friends.
Viewers will get a glimpse into their lives, mansions, the spots they frequent, their friendships, personal journeys and more on the highly anticipated season 2 of the much talked about reality show.
Plus, new ladies are entering the mix to spice things up and elevate what is already a brilliant cast. Prepare for solid entertainment!

Brinnette Seopela captures the true essence of beauty with brains. The glamorous Beauty Entrepreneur won over the hearts of South Africans when she appeared on the first season of the Real Housewives of Johannesburg. She constantly delighted viewers with her fashion sense, her subtle shade and bubbly personality.
She’s covered in diamonds… all the time! Originally from Durban,
Christall Kay juggles her opulent high-end lifestyle with family, as she is raising her son with her husband, as well as working on a bubbling pop career. The popstar, who's highly anticipated single, Wonder, recently premiered with new visuals, has promised an even more exciting second season.
Lebo Jojo Gunguluza: Originally from Welkom, Jojo is not only the hardest working young woman you’ll encounter in the hustle driven streets of Jozi. But at her young age, the triumphant entrepreneur is also quite established in what she does. The 27 year old boasts the impressive accolade of being the youngest magazine publisher in town. A sharp business mind in her own right, Lebo is also married to the renowned Lebo Gunguluza of Dragon’s Den. Yes, their names are the same. Soulmates, you said? You will have to tune in to watch her spread her wings and soar in the second season of Real Housewives of Johannesburg!

Lethabo Mathatho is a vibrant embodiment of her nickname. The 33 year old Radio and TV personality never shies away from being the boldest voice in all the rooms she walks in! True to her name, LeJoy wants to spread and much love and joy through the upliftment of young girls who are less fortunate.
Mpho Merriweather is at the top of her game by a mile. Not only is she acing the role of Project Manager for major events around the country, she’s also a trained jewellery designer. She believes its her destiny to trot around the globe and experience different cultures. A devoted mother of 5, and a ‘blended family Queen’, Mpho is really to deliver a refreshing sighting on the Real Housewives of Johannesburg.

Nompumelelo Thandeka Mophatlane’s upbringing toughened her up. Being the daughter of a former taxi boss certainly familiarised her the tough texture of the business world, which informs how she navigates the spaces she walks in. The theatre graduate, who juggles business with being a mother of three, and a devoted wife, is also a reformed shopaholic! But while she loves the finer things of life, Mpumi is all about being a mom and a housewife.

Tarina Patel, who is about to release a book, is adding the title of author to her long list of impressive attributes.
