Shannon Beador Opens Up About Her Romance With Boyfriend John Janssen!

Shannon Beador is opening up about her new romance with boyfriend John Janssen, which The Real Housewives of Orange County star recently made it official on Instagram.

"I kind of made a commitment to myself that I wasn't gonna get involved with anyone because I know that with my age..." Shannon trailed off. "I want to eventually have a partner, but I'm older. I kind of have one shot left, so I wasn't gonna just jump into a relationship."

"That being said, I did meet John, and it was a surprise, and I had a connection and a comfort with him that I haven't experienced with anyone before, so I'm really grateful that he's in my life," she told TooFab.

Shannon said it was a "new relationship" and that the two have been dating for "a couple months."

The two met through "mutual friends" despite the fact that they "both went to USC."

Because Janssen was a couple years older than her, they never crossed paths on campus. Shannon said her three daughters "have met John, and they like him a lot. They see that I'm happy, and they want me to be happy."

"Over time, I've realized that I'm capable of taking care of myself and my family," Shannon told TooFab. "I started a business that continues to grow, I got out there and I started to date, and I've been having a lot of fun. I wake up in the morning, and I'm so grateful and blessed for everything that's happening in my life. I wake up with a smile on my face, and that's something that didn't happen for a lot of years."
