Porsha Williams Pays Off $28,000 Tax Lien!

Porsha Williams paid off $28,000 to settle a tax bill. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, The Georgia Department of Revenue is releasing the tax lien filed against the Real Housewives of Atlanta star.

The lien was originally filed back on April 29 in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The Department of Revenue accused Williams of owing a total of $27,846.34 for the year 2017.

Williams’ original tax bill for the year was only $19,935, but it grew with interest and penalties, reports the outlet.

Williams was warned at the time if she didn’t pay off her lien, they would begin the process of seizing her property and assets.

Earlier this year, the IRS hit Williams with a federal tax lien. The lien claimed she owed $240,624.10 for the years 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2017. However, Williams paid off the debt within months.
