Luann de Lesseps Confirms Bravo Has Added A New Cast Member On RHONY, Anthony Scaramucci’s Wife Deidre Ball Claims She Was Rejected For Season 12!

Luann de Lesseps recently shared new details about the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City. The Countess and Friends cabaret singer confirmed that Bravo has added a new cast member for the show's upcoming twelfth season.

While appearing on Michelle Collins SiriusXM radio show, the former View host brought up the latest topic that Ramona Singer is campaigning for her friend Missy Pool to join the cast. If you recall, Missy previously dated Luann's ex-husband Tom D'Agostino.

 But the former countess revealed that Bravo has already hired a new cast member.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Luann said, according to Us Weekly. “I think they already cast somebody else. Can’t tell you who, but I think they did!”

Luann added that she doesn’t even know “much about this person.”



While the identity of the new cast member is being kept quiet at the moment, Anthony Scaramucci's wife, Deidre Ball, who has campaigning and hoping to join the cast revealed recently that she did audition for the show but was eventually turned down.

“I think we’ve gotten a bad rep in the media and [that’s] skewed people’s views of us,” she told The New York Post.  “I thought, potentially I could show them what we are really like,” she added.

Deidre claims she interviewed for the RHONY position over four separate Skype interviews. She then found out that the producers decided "to go in a different direction" and she wasn't cast.

“They decided not to offer me the job, but I wouldn’t have taken the job anyway once I thought about it,” she said. “I’d have no say over how it’s edited or what gets put out there . . . I didn’t want to double down on any negative press.”
