Apollo Nida Claims His Ex-Wife Phaedra Parks Is Keeping Him From Kids After Prison Release!

Apollo Nida claims that his ex wife, Phaedra Parks is keeping him from seeing their sons, 9-year-old Ayden and 6-year-old Dylan. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta husband took to Instagram to address the topic.

“DON’T WORRY ! We will be together soon,” Nida captioned a photo of his two sons. “No matter what, she can’t keep us apart. The fight will not stop to be a good DAD!!! There’s not a day that goes by I don’t think of the 2 of u. LOVE AND MISS YA SO MUCH.#dayonedad #alwaysbeenthere #fathershaverightstoo.”

Parks and Nida married in 2009 and split in 2014, though the lengthy divorce wasn't finalized until 2017. In 2016, Nida announced that he was engaged with New Jersey real estate agent Sherien Almufti, which he still maintains a relationship with till this day.

Last month, Nida was released from prison for a second time and is living in a halfway house, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records obtained by Page Six. He is scheduled to be released from federal custody on November 26 of this year.

The news comes after Nida was arrested for allegedly violating his parole, nine days after his first release from prison to a halfway house, according to Us Weekly. Nida allegedly broke a “technical requirement” that was included in the list of rules on which his release was contingent.

A spokesperson for RRM Philadelphia confirmed to Radar Online on Tuesday, June 4, that Nida was expected to stay at the halfway house until October 15, 2019.

If you recall, Nida turned himself in to Kentucky’s FMC Lexington in September 2014, he was sentenced to eight years behind bars after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft. In 2015, he was transferred to FCI Fort Dix correctional facility in New Jersey, the same prison that Joe Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey was serving his time.
