NeNe Leakes Reportedly ‘Doesn’t Want To Film’ With Most Of Her RHOA Co-Stars, Kenya Moore ‘Excited’ To Be Returning For Season 12!

Seems like NeNe Leakes is pulling a Lisa Vanderpump as she is allegedly refusing to film with most of her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars for the show's upcoming twelfth season with the exception of Marlo Hampton and Kandi Burruss.

“NeNe has been really keeping to herself during RHOA filming. So far, it’s kind of reminiscent of an LVP situation with the RHOBH ladies because she really doesn’t want to film with anyone but Marlo or Kandi, though she still is showing up and filming when she needs to,” a source close to production told HollywoodLife.

“She’s tolerating it as best as she can. When she does show up, she seems to not want to be there just because she has no real friendship with everyone really except Marlo.”

“As far as off camera though, NeNe isn’t interested nor will she be having a conversation anytime soon with most of the other ladies, including Cynthia (Bailey), Kenya (Moore), Eva (Marcille) or Porsha (Williams). The same can be said for the other way around, too. There seems to be a major divide in the cast,” the insider continues.

Filming began for Season 12 at the start of June but Leakes didn’t initially take part in it, holding out for more money.  “NeNe just wanted to make sure she was being compensated fairly. She wasn’t going to start filming without a deal she was content with in place,” a source told HollywoodLife.

Meanwhile, after Bravo officially confirmed that Kenya Moore was returning to the Bravo hit reality series for the show's upcoming twelfth season, a source close to production of the show revealed to HollywoodLife, “Kenya Moore is so excited to be returning to RHOA,” the source said.

“She missed the show and is having a great time connecting again with all the ladies and spending more time with them,” the insider revealed. “Kenya knows that she was made for reality TV and is so excited to share her life with viewers again. Kenya is keeping it real and not holding anything back at all yet again. She can’t wait to show Brooklyn off to all the viewers.”

The source added: “She’s truly enjoying spending time with Porsha [Williams] who is also a new mommy,” the source said. “The girls laugh at how far they’ve come in their friendship and how close they are. She’s also loving spending time with Kandi [Burruss] and Cynthia [Bailey].”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is set to return later this year on Bravo.
