Luann de Lesseps Says Bravo Actually Paid For Her Rehab And Credits Demi Lovato As Inspiration For Her Sobriety Journey!

Luann de Lesseps is giving an update on hersobriety journey.  “I’m doing great,”the Real Housewives of New York City star told Access. “I am almost at 90 days [sober], and that’s amazing. It’s been difficult, and doing it in the public eye has been even more difficult, so I take it day by day … I’m at the point where I can finally go to a party now and not drink, and I’m OK with that.”

Luann reveals she’s “learned a lot” about herself and that she’s grateful for where she is now. The Bravo reality star also credits singer and actress Demi Lovato as inspiration for her sobriety journey.

“You know who’s really been inspirational also, is Demi Lovato,” de Lesseps said. “Because she’s been very public about her struggle and I think it’s important. I think a lot of people are struggling and they don’t know how to help themselves.”

Luann also thanked Andy Cohen for being “very supportive.” throughout her journey and for also appearing in her "Feelin' Jovani" music video.

In a separate interview, the Countess and Friends cabaret performer addressed Bethenny Frankel‘s role in covering the cost of her second stint in rehab that she attended last year, saying Bravo picked up the check.

“She helped, but the network actually paid for that. So I want to clarify that,” de Lesseps told People Now, “You’re the only ones who know it, I said it here, right now.”

“[Bethenny] helped make that happen, absolutely, and I give her credit for that,” the Countess continued. “But the network covered that for me, which is great.”
