Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter is “freaking out over finances” after her estranged husband Matt was let go from his corporate job at PIMKO following the domestic violence incident, according to Radar Online.
According to a source close to the situation, Gina may be forced to move back home to Long Island, New York, because she believes that she will be unable to raise their three kids on her RHOC salary.
“Gina is getting the short end of the stick in all of this. She filed the restraining order to protect herself, not to lose her job that she loves.”
“She really doesn’t have any other source of income and it is really expensive to live in Orange County, especially for a single mother,” the insider told Radar Online.
“She is going through it right now and the kids are caught in the middle. Although they are too young to fully understand what is going on, they do know that mommy and daddy are not together and that they won’t ever be again.”
The insider added: “This is not what Gina was hoping for when she got the restraining order and it is the last thing that she wants.”
