Apollo Nida Re-Released From Prison To Halfway House!

Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks has been released from prison and is now living in a halfway house, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons records obtained by Page Six.

Nida is scheduled to be released from federal custody on November 26 of this year.

The news comes after Nida was arrested for allegedly violating his parole, nine days after his release from prison to a halfway house, according to Us Weekly. Nida allegedly broke a “technical requirement” that was included in the list of rules on which his release was contingent.

A spokesperson for RRM Philadelphia confirmed to Radar Online on Tuesday, June 4, that Nida was expected to stay at the halfway house until October 15, 2019.

If you recall, Nida turned himself in to Kentucky’s FMC Lexington in September 2014, he was sentenced to eight years behind bars after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft. In 2015, he was transferred to FCI Fort Dix correctional facility in New Jersey, the same prison that Joe Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey was serving his time.

Parks and Nida share two sons, 8-year-old Ayden and 5-year-old Dylan. The pair married in 2009 and split in 2014, though the lengthy divorce wasn't finalized until 2017. In 2016, Nida announced that he was engaged with New Jersey real estate agent Sherien Almufti.

Back in March, it was announced that Nida’s sentence had been reduced by one year. He was expected to be in custody until August 2020.
