Phaedra Parks’ Ex-Husband Apollo Nida Released From Prison And Moved To Halfway House!

Apollo Nida, ex-husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks was released from prison and moved to a halfway house in Philadelphia. A spokesperson for RRM Philadelphia revealed on Tuesday, June 4, that Nida, 40 is expected to stay at the halfway house until October 15, 2019.

“He will be here until October 15, 2019,” the spokesperson told Radar Online.

If you recall, Nida turned himself in to Kentucky’s FMC Lexington in September 2014, he was sentenced to eight years behind bars after pleading guilty to bank fraud and identity theft. In 2015, he was transferred to FCI Fort Dix correctional facility in New Jersey, the same prison that Joe Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey was serving his time.

Parks and Nida share two sons, 8-year-old Ayden and 5-year-old Dylan. The pair married in 2009 and split in 2014, though the lengthy divorce wasn't finalized until 2017. In 2016, Nida announced that he was engaged with New Jersey real estate agent Sherien Almufti.

Back in March, it was announced that Nida’s sentence had been reduced by one year. He was expected to be in custody until August 2020.
