Kyle Richards Says It’s ‘Very Hard’ For Lisa Vanderpump ‘To Own Her Behavior’

Kyle Richards is opening up about her fallout with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Lisa Vanderpump. The former child star explains why she believes that 'it's very hard' for Vanderpump 'to own her behavior.'

“If Lisa does something wrong, it is very hard for her to own her behavior because she is a perfectionist and wants to be perceived as being perfect all the time,” she explains in the June issue of Social Life Magazine, according to Us Weekly.

LVP previously explained why she decided to walk way from the Bravo hit reality show after nine seasons.  “It’s a poignant moment for me, having been through the demise of ‘Housewives.’ Just to be here tonight is a feel-good factor, she told ExtraTV, where she received the Legacy Award at Thursday night’s 7th annual "Real to Reel: Portrayals and Perceptions of LGBTs in Hollywood" event.

“The last year was a very negative year for me. I feel like we’re moving forward. They have had their resolution. I just had a horrible time with the show and the women. It was a very sad time in my life and it wasn’t made any better. I just decided to walk away.”

In a separate interview at the same event, LVP  shared more details as to why she decided to quit the Bravo hit reality series. “I made the decision to leave. It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. I had wonderful things happen this year, opening up and TomTom and the cocktail garden in Vegas. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with,” she told Us Weekly.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight has reported that Vanderpump has no plans to return to RHOBH.

Earlier this week, Andy Cohen broke his silence on Vanderpump's exit on his SiriusXM Radio show Andy Cohen Live, according to Deadline. “No one will ever replace her,” Cohen said. “And no one can replace her. I mean, it has been well-documented that when we were developing the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I was not totally sold on doing the show … but when I saw Lisa Vanderpump on that casting tape, man, she was the one who really sold me on doing the show.”

Cohen admits that fans will continue to see LVP's luxurious lifestyle on her spin-off Vanderpump Rules. “She is iconic. And I am so glad that we will continue to see more of Lisa — in all of her glory — on Vanderpump Rules,” Cohen added.
