Lisa Vanderpump Responds To Ariana Madix’s ‘Minion’ Comment!

Lisa Vanderpump is reacting to Ariana Madi'x recent "minion" comment. “When she came to me I was totally surprised at that because I have a very jovial relationship with the Tom’s,” Vanderpump told Us Weekly.

“You’ve seen on the show when they show up with dollar bills for the $50,000 or showed up drunk at Caesars. Tom was very much a bar man, not a manager. He was very much having fun with us and maybe Ariana misconstrued that.”

LVP revealed that she is “open to conversation” with her staff. She also revealed that Ariana’s remarks on the Vanderpump Rules aftershow upset her.

If you recall during the show's Season 7 finale episode that aired last week, Madix confronted Vanderpump about bashing the Toms, but the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star brushed off her concerns. During the show's After Show special, Madix sound off on her confrontation with her SUR boss.

“Literally as the words were coming out of my mouth, I realized that it was a completely pointless endeavor,” Madix said of her conversation with Vanderpump, according to Us Weekly. “She’ll never take what I’m saying seriously. I’ll always be her, like, minion, you know? What is the point? All I’m going to do is make her mad. … She’ll get vindictive. She’ll try to get back at me for having this opinion and these concerns, so you know what? Screw it. I’ll just go back to my f–king corner and stay out of it and live my life.”

“If Lisa says the sky is purple, every person in the entire world will be like, ‘Lisa’s word is gold, so the sky must be purple,’” she added. “She can do no wrong in anyone’s eyes, so it’s, like, really hard to have a difference of opinion with her.”

As for Madix's boyfriend, Tom Sandoval said that “there’s a lot of respect” for Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, but he also vented out his frustrations. “They can sometimes be very aggressive,” Sandoval said. “I disagree with that way of leading. And to me, you get loyalty by giving happiness and positive reinforcement, not through intimidation, not through arrogance or whatever.”
