Kristen Taekman who appeared on the Real Housewives of New York City for the show's sixth and seventh season of the Bravo hit reality series revealed that she is open to returning to the show — but this time around, with thicker skin.
“The only thing I regret is that I should’ve been a tougher cookie,” she told Page Six.
“I was just raised to be kind to my elders,” she continued. “I mean, I was 30-something, and they were … you know. It’s just not my personality to be, like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ [at a dinner party].”
Taekman also admits that she is loving the newest addition to the show, Barbara Kavovit, whom she has met through Luann de Lesseps.
“I love Barbara. I was really happy to see her join this year,” Taekman told Page Six. “She’s a new girl and they’re all going to pick on her, especially Ramona. She likes to pick, pick, pick.”
Taekman thinks Kavovit is “holding her own,” though, saying, “Barbara is a tough cookie. It’s great how good of a friend she is to Lu — Luann needs that support.”
She added that the cast should bring in some “new blood” next year because she thinks this season feels “just a little stagnant.”
