Dorit Kemsley’s Husband PK Wins Legal Battle Over Sports Betting Debt!

It's been reported that Paul “PK” Kemsley, husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley recently won one of his many legal battles, as a judge sided with him in a battle over an alleged $75,000 sports betting debt.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a judge ordered all claims against Kemsley in the case filed by a U.K. company, AR Legal Collections Limited, to be dismissed.

The judge granted Kemsley’s motion and ordered the case to be officially closed.

As previously reported courtesy via The Blast, PK had been battling it out with AR Legal Collections Limited since they filed the lawsuit last year.

The case claimed that PK had an open book account with a company named Star Sports in 2015, a UK sports bookie. As of October 2016, Kemsley owed an alleged total of $260,737 and the company hired AR Legal Collections to collect on their money.

They claimed to have worked out a settlement with Kemsley where he would pay $150k to settle the debt. The suit said he paid the first $75k payment but failed to make the last payment, leaving a $75,000 balance owed.

But Kemsley argued in court documents the collections company filed the case way past the statute of limitations. He even accused them of attempting to collect on the debt “first by making threats to Kemsley and his brother and then filing the lawsuit,” the outlet reported

PK claimed all the alleged bets took place between 2010 and 2011, and they waited too long to sue him. The Bravo reality star claimed that the company failed to provide any evidence to back up their claims and demanded the entire case be tossed.
