Ashley Darby Addresses Speculation About Her Husband Michael Darby's Sexuality After Robyn Dixon Claimed Michael Made A Sexual Comment About Another Man On RHOP!

Ashley Darby is coming to her husband Michael Darby's defense after some of her Real Housewives of Potomac co-stars questioned his sexuality after making some alleged inappropriate comments about another man at her uncle's party during Sunday night's episode of the Bravo hit reality series.

Ashley addressed the moment during an interview she did with Bravo's The Daily Dish that took place prior to her viewing the episode. "When I hear that Robyn is going to talk about what Michael supposedly said about wanting to suck someone's dick, the issue there is that there's a discrepancy in relation to what Chris [Bassett] heard, what Candiace [Dillard Bassett] heard, and what Robyn heard. So three people who were supposedly [there] at the same time to hear the same thing heard different things," Ashley explained. "And allegedly, the conversation was had with Chris, who heard something completely different than what Robyn is saying Michael said."

The mom-to-be also explains why she doubts the accuracy of Robyn and Candiace's statements due to them drinking that night. "I'd really like to see this episode because like, I remember how things are happening then because I didn't drink. Everyone else got hammered drunk throughout the night, but because it was my uncle's party I stayed fairly sober," Ashley said, admitting that she's "not the best drunk sometimes," as we saw at Candiace's wedding. "So I really did try to contain myself and everyone else went ham. So I was pretty sober, and I thought, 'I have a pretty good recollection as to what's happening and what everyone said.' So that really caught me off-guard because I was there, and if I didn't hear that and I was more sober than you, who should I really trust: my own ears or your limoncello ears?"

Ashley has been dealing with questions about husband's sexuality since the very first season of the Bravo hit reality series, but she said "it doesn't really faze me anymore." "Michael is a very opinionated person, and that rubs people the wrong way sometimes. So because he's so opinionated and has such a voice, I feel that does make him a little bit of a target for some of the ladies and some of the fans," she explained. "Now, his sexuality has never been in question for me, but more so the fact that people can take such liberties in creating stories about his sexuality."

Ashley cited Michael talking about grabbing Karen Huger's husband Ray's butt at Candiace's wedding, which Ashley claims it was a joke that he was referencing to a Season 1 moment at one of Charrisse Jackson Jordan's parties, and those photos of a man some of the ladies thought looked like Michael circulating online last season as examples. "Michael's very comfortable with his sexuality. If Michael were bisexual or were interested in men — he's almost 60 years old — he would come clean and admit it. There's really no reason for him to hide it," Ashley told Bravo's The Daily Dish. "And we are so open about our lives that it would be impossible to hide it at this point because someone would come forward with an actual picture of my husband if it were true."
