Lucy Lucy Apple Juice has been the main storyline for the current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But Dr. John Sessa from Vanderpump Dogs is giving an update on how the pup is doing these days and his thoughts on puppy gate.
“Honestly, at the end of the day I stand up for the foundation and I stand up for the dog and at the end of the day it’s the health of the dog that matters,” the Vanderpump Dogs co-owner told Page Six.
If you recall, Dorit Kemsley previously adopted Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, at Vanderpump Dogs. Kemsley but gave it to a friend after it attacked her husband and children. Then the dog’s new owner allegedly dropped it off at a kill shelter, and Lia Vanderpump was informed of the situation. While this ordeal went on off-camera.
Teddi Mellencamp claims that a setup was planned with Sessa, Vanderpump and another employee, John Blizzard when she and co-star Kyle Richards appeared in the Season 9 premiere to bring up the adoption drama on camera to make Kemsley look bad.
While Teddi has leaked text messages between she and Blizzard on social media, Sessa makes it clear that there will not be texts leaked from him.
“I don’t think I’ve ever even had Teddi’s number so Teddi and I have never really talked,” he said.
Despite the ongoing dog drama with Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, Sessa says the pup is in good hands these days.
“She’s very, very safe,” Sessa told Page Six. “And she is with someone that’s very close with the Vanderpump Dogs family. So people have a very close watchful eye out on her and she’s very happy.”
