Jim Bellino Refuses To Pay Shannon Beador’s $220K Legal Fees In Defamation Lawsuit!

Jim Bellino is reportedly refusing to pay Shannon Beador's legal fees after he lost to her in court. The former Real Housewives of Orange County husband doesn’t want to give Beador the $220,000 in legal bills she’s demanded, according to The Blast.

Apparently, Jim is contending that the $220k legal bill is excessive and unreasonable and has asked the judge to order that he doesn’t need to pay the Bravo reality star anything. Failing that, Jim wants to slash the bill by 80%, so he would only have to cough up about $44,000, the website has reported.

Bellino also has claimed in court documents that Beador’s legal eagles haven’t provided enough detail on the work they did. A judge hasn’t yet ruled on the matter, reports Radar Online.

As previously reported, this all went down when Tamra and Shannon appeared on Heather McDonald’s live Juicy Scoop podcast in June. “He was very crusty … I almost sent her a message saying, ‘I’m so sorry,’ but then you sent me that text saying, ‘Do you think that he’s trying to protect her? Do you think that he’s in trouble and she can’t testify against him if he’s in trouble?” Judge said at the time.

Multiple blogs reported that Judge said her “theory” was Jim is “going to jail.” Meanwhile, Beador reportedly claimed “people get paralyzed” at his trampoline park business and the estranged couple “got sued” because of it, according to Us Weekly.

Jim filed for divorce from Alexis after 13 years of marriage on June 21, citing irreconcilable differences. They are parents of son James and twin daughters Melania and Mackenna
