Camille Grammer is trying to rebuild her life after the Malibu wildfires destroyed her home, but the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star admits the process hasn't been easy. “I’m not sure what’s going to happen,” she told Page Six of her plans to rebuild her estate.
“It’s been a nightmare. They need to demo the toxic debris because the house burnt from the top down. And they have to remove anything that’s toxic from the house and then they have to demo the rest of it and start from scratch. So it’s going to be a long process but I do have a house I’ll be moving to in the next few weeks but that keeps getting pushed back. Every two weeks I’m like, ‘Am I moving in? No! I’m renovating still!'”
Grammer is excited to make a new home with her new husband, David C. Meyer, and their children, from previous relationships.
“My son’s been living with his dad and my daughter is like, ‘Mom, I need a house,'” she said. “My husband has two boys, so I need a home. We have two bedrooms and one bedroom is smaller than a closet!”
The mom of two is most excited to have a place for “people convening together. Cooking dinner together. Sharing stories together. Playing board games together. Being there for one another.”
