Real Housewives Of Toronto Star Grego Minot Reflects On Reuniting With Her Biological Mother!

Grego Minot took to Instagram to share with her followers the journey she took to meet her biological mother. The Real Housewives of Toronto star reflected when she first met her birth mother, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, two years ago.

"Two years ago today, I flew to Bangkok, Thailand with my family and my adoptive parents to meet my birth mother Wanchana for the very first time since the day I was born. Needless to say, our reunion was extremely moving and powerful. This moment I had always dreamt of was made possible by the help and support of my loved ones," she wrote.

"Today, Wanchana and I communicate regularly and we are planning to once again reunite - here in Canada. She has never crossed the borders of Thailand and wishes to see snow for the first time!," she continued.

"✨We must not be afraid of dreaming the seemingly impossible if we want the seemingly impossible to become a reality," she added, adding the hashtags; "#adoptionjourney #twoyearsago #specialday❤️"

The actress turned reality star also took to her Instagram Stories to share more details about her emotional reunion, which took place two years ago.

"Two years ago today, I flew to Bangkok, Thailand with my family and my adopted parents to meet my birth mother Wanchana for the very first time since the day I was born," she shared.

"Needless to say, our reunion was extremely moving and powerful," she wrote while sharing an emotional image of her reuniting with her birth mother.

"This moment I had always dreamt of was made possible by the help and support of my loved ones," she continued. 

Grego then shares a photo where they "spent a day at the Nonthaburi Orphanage. A moment we will never forget," she wrote.

"Today, Wanchana and I communicate regularly and we are planning to once again reunite - here in Canada," she shared.

"She has never crossed the borders of Thailand and wishes to see snow for the first time!"

In 2017, Grego shared more details about her emotional reunion with her birth mother via her Slice blog. "2017 has definitely been a big year. I was reunited with my birth mother not too long ago. My husband, my children and my adoptive parents made the trip to Thailand to meet [my birth mother] for the first time. It was a very emotional, life-changing experience. We spent a whole week together and there was an instant connection. She dreamt about that day, just like me, and it finally happened," she wrote.

"We had a translator because I don’t speak Thai and she doesn’t speak English. The first hour we didn’t speak much – it was just holding hands and a lot of crying. It was like we understood each other, we didn’t need to say much. Of course I had a lot of questions, but I wanted to know about her and her life. I brought an album of me as a little girl, and I was explaining a bit about my life. It was magical."
