Teresa Giudice’s Lawyer Insists She Is Not Divorcing Her Husband Joe Giudice If He Gets Deported To Italy!

Teresa Giudice's lawyer is shutting down reports that Teresa Giudice is planning on divorcing her husband Joe Giudice if he ends up getting deported to his native Italy. "The only lawyers Teresa is talking to are her husbands immigration lawyers and those conversations are about bringing Joe home where he belongs," the Real Housewives of New Jersey star's lawyer told The Daily Mail.

"Nobody is talking about getting divorced."

He added: "Joe Giudice is a fighter and he wants to come home. His lawyers are putting up a hell of a fight in an effort to make that happen."

Teresa's lawyer is speaking out after Radar Online reports that the mother-of-four was planning a fresh start and claimed that she went to see a divorce lawyer last week.

"Teresa visited a divorce lawyer last week when she got back from Los Angeles," a source told Radar Online. "She is serious about divorcing Joe, and she wants to make sure she is taken care of when it happens."

Multiple sources revealed to PEOPLE in January that Teresa allegedly confirmed at the season 9 reunion taping that if Joe is deported to Italy, “we’d go our separate ways.”

Teresa allegedly told reunion host Andy Cohen that she had discussed the possibility with their four daughters and said that they would now be staying in the United States without him.

“Teresa told Andy that if Joe gets deported, she’s not going,” a source on the scene told PEOPLE. “She said that she and Joe had talked about it over the phone, and that he understood.”

According to a second source, Cohen then pressed the mother-of-four about what would happen to their marriage — causing her to tell him that they’d split.

“She didn’t really express any sadness about that,” the second source explained. “She just focused instead on the girls. It was very matter of fact.”

As we previously reported, Joe was ordered on Wednesday, October 10, to be deported from the United States to his native country Italy, according to Radar Online. “Based upon the law, I find you deportable and ineligible for any kind of relief,” Judge John Ellington said during a hearing, the website reported. “Mr. Giudice, no matter how this turns out, I wish you the best. I decided this case as a matter of law.”

Joe appeared at the hearing via teleconference from his Allenwood, Penn. prison reacted to the judge's ruling. “I don’t understand how I can be deported on this case. If you will, I’ll tell you my side. I shouldn’t even be here right now. I have to go back and tell my kids this, and they’ve been waiting to hear from me.”

According to Radar Online, the father-of-four made the legal move on Friday, November 9, which was the deadline to file the papers. A spokesperson for the Department of Justice told the website, “Records show that its appellate component, the Board of Immigration Appeals, received an appeal today, Nov. 9 2018, pertaining to Giuseppe Giudice’s Oct. 10, 2018, removal order.”

Teresa also shut down any speculation that she would ever consider divorcing Joe. "No. We're going to be a family, and we're going to fight this and get through this," she told Entertainment Tonight.
