Big Ang Remembered By ‘Mob Wives’ Co-Stars On 3-Year Anniversary Of Her Death!

Several Mob Wives cast members, including Drita D'Avanzo, Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano and Carla Facciolo to name a few posted on social media moving tributes to their beloved co-star Angela "Big Ang" Raiola on Monday, February 18, the 3-year anniversary of her tragic death.

"When I found out you were going to be on #MobWives I knew you you would change everything. I knew you would make the show #Bigger and Better than it could ever be!," shared Drita on her Instagram. "I knew everyone would love you because everyone always loved you. What I didn’t know was that you would be taken so soon. I wish you were still here. I visit you as often as I could to just talk about everyday things."

She continued: "You brought love and laughter in our homes that followed with tears and broken hearts when you became an #Angel There can be thousands of reality shows and thousands of reality stars but no one will ever come close to being you (that I know) I miss you and thought about you all night."

She added: "3 yrs ago today our hearts broke and our tears fell. You left us with memories that I hold on too..real tight. I love you and miss you terribly. I’m real emotional right now. 💔 You went from #BigAng to #BigAngel #RIP my friend 🙏🏼😓 #RIP 2/18 #FCancer"

Big Ang's sister Janine Detore shared an emotional lengthy post about how it's been difficult to move one after Ang's passing. "At 3:01 am we watched you take your last breath 😞 3 years you left us , you went home with mommy & daddy . That day you took apart of me with you . I’ve never been the same , I struggle every day & wonder why God took you 😞 if I could have one more day . You were the best person I’ve ever known. You were the best sister , aunt, daughter, cousin, sister in law, friend , grandma I’ve ever known 😞 life without you is like life without air , it’s so difficult 😞 you left a legacy , your legacy will continue forever ... people from around the world miss you 😘 I will never be the same , but like you said to me “you need to go on & you need to get over it “ I’ll never get over it & I am trying to go on , but I’m taking you with me I’ll never let you go," sje shared on Instagram.

She continued: "You were there from day one , I don’t know life without you . In my mind I know we will be together again , I say to you every day stay with me & you give me all signs that your still here & i embrace them now . I actually feel you ,when I’m down & feel like I can’t go on I go to our pictures or your memory chest & I think look at all the things you’ve accomplished in 55 years wow I’m so proud to call you my sister 😞 Angela you made it , you are forever legendary, you are forever the one & only Big Ang they’ll never be another like you & for me they’ll never be a better sister, friend . How do you thank someone who has taking me from crayons to perfume it isn’t easy but I’ll try 😞," she wrote.

She added: "And as I leave I know that I am leaving my best friend
A friend who taught me right from wrong and weak from strong
That's a lot to learn, but what can I give you in return? To sir... with love ❤️ Rest In Peace my sweet sister . Stay with me . Give me the strength to go on . Kiss mommy & Daddy for me 💋💋 Know each & every single day I speak your name. Angela "Big Ang" Raiola died on February 18 after a long battle with brain and lung cancer. She was 55 years old. Her daughter, Raquel Scotto, is continuing her mother's legacy by doing charity work with Big Ang's Angels -- an organization that provides aid and financial relief to those in need -- and working with St Jude's Hospital.
