Shannon Beador Splits From Boyfriend Scot Matteson — Find Out Why!

It's been revealed that Shannon Beador and her boyfriend Scot Matteson ended their relationship late last month and according to Radar Online, the relationship ended after it became “one big booze cruise.”

“Shannon broke it off with Scott to focus on herself, and part of that was getting healthier, which included cutting down on the drinking,” the source continued, noting, “Scott loved to drink and go out and that was pretty much all they ever did together. When she decided to cut out the drinking she realized that he had to go, too.”

According to the source, when the reunion was filmed Shannon had already cut back on her drinking “dramatically” after pulling the plug on her relationship with Matteson.

The source continued: “Shannon is going to be very picky now that she knows her self-worth. She is not looking for any type of relationship until the divorce is finalized. She is putting herself first.”

Meanwhile, another source reveals the reason why the former couple called it off after six months.

“Their romance started to cool off after this fall,” a source close to the Bravo reality star told Radar Online. “Shannon was not ready to be tied down to Scot and she ended the relationship on amicable terms several weeks ago.”

“Honestly, her divorce with David is just too much for anyone to handle,” the source added. “She does not want to be with anyone serious right now and knows that she can’t really move forward or get too involved with anyone until her divorce is finalized.”

As previously reported, Shannon recently got into a court battle with her ex-husband David Beador who demanded she no longer drink around their daughters. Shannon responded to her estranged ex’s demands in court documents on December 20, insisting to the court that his request be denied because it was based on a conversation that she and her RHOC cast mates had while filming the reunion.
