"David never really got over how popular Lisa was on I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! and ever since it has been downhill," a source close the couple told The Sydney Morning Herald.
After being eliminated from I'm A Celebrity, the controversial reality star confirmed that she "will be speaking to a divorce lawyer."
"I feel like he is a boat anchor around my neck, and after 17 years I've had a revelation," she told hosts Dr. Chris Brown and Julia Morris.
When asked if she was joking, Lisa said: "No, I don't think I am actually."
However, a few days later she told Who Magazine: "It was a bit heat of the moment. I think I’d rather be a widow, why take 50 per cent when you can take 100?"
Then, she later appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O Show and went back on her divorce claim.
"After I had my roast chicken dinner my first call was to my divorce lawyer. We actually decided I'm better off being a widow rather than a divorcee," she said.
