Leanne Brown Confirms She Will Not Return To RHOCheshire; Says She ‘Can’t Ever Put’ Herself In ‘That Toxic Situation’ And Admits Quitting The Show Was ‘Liberating’

Despite Real Housewives of Cheshire fans demanding of wanting Leanne Brown to return to the ITVBe hit reality series, the wife of footballer Wes Brown makes it clear that she has no plans to return to the “toxic situations” of the reality show.

“I’d not ever go back to Real Housewives of Cheshire but I’m open to doing TV and other reality shows,” she told OK! Magazine UK.  “Coming away from the show and writing the journal meant I have done a lot of soul searching. Being on the show meant being involved in drama week after week.”

“Also the situation with Dawn wasn’t helpful. Even watching the show now, it’s still full of bitchiness and arguments. I’ve removed myself from that, that’s not who I am. So I can’t ever put myself back in that toxic situation again.”

She continued: “Since leaving the show, I've changed my mindset and having stood up to Dawn, it gave me a lot of confidence and I've got my own identity rather than living in her shadow – and it feels so liberating.

“I am absolutely grateful for the show and the opportunities and exposure it gave me but that type of show is not who I am or what I want to be associated with.

She added: “It’s so lovely to feel the love of all the fans from the show and I appreciate everyone's support. But it’s not the last you've seen of me on TV.”
