Larsa Pippen Claps Back Against Cheating And Gold Digger Accusations Amid Scottie Pippen Divorce!

Larsa Pippen took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to fire back at haters accusing her of cheating on her estranged husband, Scottie Pippen, or calling her a gold digger. "Ppl are so insensitive to my life. I'm a lover and will never say anything negative about him. My soul isn't built for negativity," the former Real Housewives of Miami star wrote, according to Entertainment Tonight.

"I'll take a beating publicly. Ppl saying I cheated when believe me it wasn't like that. He was no where around. I cried oceans after him. I would do anything for him. Ppl saying I'm a gold digger is inane. I don't care about money. I've had it my whole life," she continued. "I spent my bday, New Year's Eve, Times when I need him alone. At some point I decided I had to live my truth and here I am."

Larsa filed for divorce from Scottie citing irreconcilable differences on Friday and released a statement to ET, the mother-of-four said she and Scottie had "both tried very hard for a long time to make our marriage work." "We have so many amazing memories together, remain best of friends and love each other very much," she explained. "Our four children have always been our priority and for their sake we ask for as much privacy as possible for our family during this sensitive time.”

According to court documents obtained by E! News, Larsa listed the date of separation as Oct. 29 and is asking for asking for joint legal and physical custody of their four children, as well as spousal support. As for the reason for the couple's split, TMZ reports that they've "just grown apart."

As previously reported, Scottie filed divorce documents on October 18, 2016. Not long after the athlete called for the dissolution of their 19-year marriage, Larsa’s rep issued a statement to address the split.

“After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage,” the statement read. “Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their four beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect.”

The breakup came as multiple sources alleged that Larsa cheated on Scottie with rapper Future, whom she first met at a Haute Living magazine party in Miami last summer.

“Scottie is devastated,” an insider revealed at the time. Added a second source: “He found out about Larsa and Future and couldn’t handle it.”

However, source close to Larsa denied claims of adultery, revealing that she and Future — who was previously engaged to Ciara — “are friends.”

Meanwhile, months later, the the two agreed to dismiss their legal split case in court. According to court records obtained by TMZ, Scottie and Larsa jointly filed Florida's Broward County Court on November 2017.

The Pippens were married in Chicago in 1997 and have four children: daughter Sophia, and sons Scotty Jr., Justin and Preston.
