Chyka Keebaugh On Empty Nest Syndrome: “It Feels Weird”

Chyka Keebaugh and her husband Bruce have downsized and moved into their new home after their two children Francesca (24) and BJ (22) moved out. Now, the former Real Housewives of Melbourne star talks about how she’s adjusting to empty nest syndrome.

"It feels weird," she told 9Honey. "Most of my friends still have kids at school but mine are grown and have moved out. I miss the energy of my children and their friends."

Regardless, Chyka admits she's proud of her children, as her daughter moved to New York to work at a creative agency and her son winning a rugby scholarship to Boston university.

"They'll be home for my 50th in December," she says, adding that she and her children stay connected on Facetime.

"So it's just Bruce and I and the dog," she says of her new home, an apartment in Richmond..
