Danielle Staub Opens Up About Her Divorce From Marty Caffrey; Hints He Has A Drinking Problem — Addresses Feud With Margaret Josephs And Shades Caroline Manzo And Jacqueline Laurita!

Danielle Staub appeared on The Wendy Williams Show as the Real Housewives of New Jersey star got candid about her divorce from estranged husband Marty Caffrey. Also, Staub took the opportunity to address her feud with co-stars Margaret Josephs and much more.

When asked why she was returning as a friend on the show rather than a full-time cast member, Staub made it obvious she wasn't too pleased with Bravo's decision.

“No. Just a friend. I’d love the answer to why that is but maybe you know some people,” she said during an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday.

Staub then got candid about her divorce from Marty Caffrey. “I didn’t see that coming,” she explained. “It’s funny how I saw certain things happening, but you just believe, especially with the perception around us, getting engaged would make it better … getting married would make it better.”

Despite her hopes, Staub said it “didn’t get better,” according to PEOPLE. “If it’s falling apart, it’s broken,” she added. “You can’t fix that.”

Staub hinted Caffrey’s drinking contributed to their split. “He does hit cocktail hour a little bit heavily and it does change things,” she alleged. “I think all of us it changes, I just don’t think it changes him for the better or his ability to maneuver through what’s going on.”

“I’m not the easiest person to live with either,” she continued. “I’m to blame for it as well, but I feel like I’m always the person who wants to fix people, and it’s not fixable.”

When asked if there's a chance of getting back together, Staub replied: “I don’t have a crystal ball, but you can’t go into the public and be tweeting and Instagraming about your wife or your spouse, … You just don’t do that.”



Then, Stab addressed her feud with Margaret Josephs. Staub cleared the air about reports that Josephs was responsible for Staub getting less camera time on the upcoming ninth season.

“That’s the funny thing about rumors, wouldn’t we all like that kind of power?” Staub told Williams about Josephs, who threw some shade at her direction as she said she has only “been here a minute.”

When asked why she wasn't featured on the trailer, Staub replies; “I’m there,” Staub insisted, claiming that she’s “the reason for that trailer.”

Staub then explains why she and Josephs are feuding. “I’m going through a rough time and it would’ve been nice for her to not be there for me but stay out of my marriage,” she explained.

When asked if she could make up with any former cast member, Staub revealed it would be Dina Manzo. Then, she took the opportunity to throw some major shade towards Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita.

“Who?” said Danielle about Caroline. “We’re the same age she and I. She hates when I say this.”

Staub ended her interview by dissing Laurita. “That’s a whole lot of crazy. I mean, I own my crazy but if you don’t own it and you’re even crazier than me? That’s a lot of crazy. A lot.”
