Kameron Westcott: “I Have An Extremely Hard Time Believing That D’Andra Only Has $200 In Her Bank Account”

Kameron Westcott is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on last week's episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas. Kameron Westcott explains why she decided to confront Brandi Redmond about her friendship with D'Andra Simmons.

Bravotv.com: How were you feeling going into the expo? Tell us about why you were worried and the pressure of potentially being shut down.
Kameron Westcott: The Global Pet Expo was such an amazing event, it was seriously the most fun experience. There were so many amazing dogs there. I learned a ton and made some great connections and got some great leads. I was really worried going in, that people would not get my vision and laugh at me, but the response was overwhelming. SparkleDog is doing fantastic! We are still on Amazon and are in multiple retailers in Dallas and have now started selling SparkleDog Shampoo and Chewy Multi-Vitamins. At the expo, I was and still am under a ton of pressure to get a distributor, but I am used to pressure. I have been to the Neiman Marcus friends and employee private sample sale before, now that’s pressure!!

Bravotv.com: What do you think watching D’Andra break down and worry about being left behind from Dallas society when talking to Cary?
KW: I totally get where D'Andra is coming from. She is right, the Dallas women's scene puts you under constant scrutiny and she has been part of it her whole life. On the other hand, she knows how mean some women can be and how easy it is to be blackballed from the scene when you do things that you may be judged harshly on.

Bravotv.com: What do you think of this moment when D’Andra confronted LeeAnne, and telling D’Andra that you are all here for her no matter what?
KW: I have an extremely hard time believing that D’Andra only has $200 in her bank account. I don’t know how anyone would believe this...but I told D’Andra regardless that I will always be there for her no matter what and I will always be a supportive friend. I also don’t understand why she would expose this private information of hers in front of all the ladies? It actually makes the situation even worse now. I was not aware of any of it but I am now. Money though does not define a friendship and it certainly would never define ours. In fact, I have many friends in my life that are from all different walks of life. I judge a friendship by a person’s character and love...not by how many handbags are in their closet.

Bravotv.com: Tell us about this confrontation with Brandi, and telling her that you were concerned about her friendship with D’Andra. What do you think of Brandi getting so upset?
KW: Brandi is upset because I voiced concern that she “may” be the reason D'Andra is having a bit of a midlife crisis and acting outside her normal character. I love Brandi but she definitely is a bit wilder than the groups of women D'Andra and I have been involved with and I wondered if she was influencing D'Andra to potentially drink more and influenced her to partake in wilder activities than the D'Andra I used to know.

I was not trying to judge Brandi for being a bad person, (by all means Brandi has a great heart and is beyond fun). I just thought her anything goes motto was wearing off on D'Andra and was causing her to do some things she may regret in the future.
